ABOUT MOC MEDIA PUBLISHING HOUSE

FOUNDED ON THE BELIEF THAT WORDS HAVE POWER TO TRANSFORM LIVES

„Words can touch more tenderly than hands, but they can also wound like knives. Everything we read builds us, page by page. That’s why I will never publish a book that could pull someone down”. – Sylwia Chrabałowska

OUR FOUNDER & CEO

Sylwia Chrabałowska

Leader, visionary, founder and president of the Moc Kobiet Foundation, and owner and CEO of the Moc Media Publishing House. As a long-time mentor in the SGH Mentoring Programme, she combines academic knowledge with practical business experience. Vice-Chair of the Supervisory Board of IDH SA and member of Chapter Zero Poland, the Polish Book Publishers Association and the Copyright Poland Association of Authors and Publishers.

She leads the apolitical voter turnout campaign 'Kobiety na Wybory’ (Women go Vote), in which the Moc Kobiet Foundation provided legal identity. She is the author of social innovations 'Widzialne’ (Visible) and 'Archipelag Kobiet’ (Archipelago of Women) and the creative guide 'Archipelag wysp szczęśliwych’ (Archipelago of Happy Islands).

With over 25 years of experience in media and publishing, she is a philologist of the Polish language, holds diplomas in contemporary editing and international certification in project management, and completed her third-cycle studies at the Warsaw School of Economics. Her dissertation focuses on tools for conducting dialogue with external stakeholders, in which she developed, among other things, a model for assessing the maturity of dialogue in a company and, after analysing industries and companies, a recommended set of dialogue tools for companies that care about dialogue that builds stakeholder engagement.

She specialises in communication, strategic management and corporate social responsibility, for which she was awarded the title of Innovative Leader 2024 and was included in the SGH 10 Women Gallery 2023.

THREE PILLARS OF MOC MEDIA PUBLISHING HOUSE

„At the beginning was HYDROGEN”
Inspired by a childhood memory of Hoimar von Ditfurth’s book with an infinity symbol on its cover, Moc Media was born from a little girl’s love for books and her belief in discovering life’s true meaning. After two decades in publishing and media, we created Moc Media to bridge traditional and new media while maintaining ethical business practices.

Our logo
— a sphere containing the word „MOC” (POWER) — represents our core belief: words shape people, and people shape reality. We publish books and collaborate with authors who share our vision of improving the world.

„At the beginning was THE SUN”
Following a profound personal experience witnessing the impact of harmful content on young readers, our founder committed to publishing only books that build up rather than tear down. We believe in the transformative power of carefully chosen words that touch hearts more gently than hands ever could.

JOIN OUR JOURNEY

Be part of a publishing revolution where ethics meet excellence, tradition embraces innovation, and every book carries the power to illuminate minds and warm hearts.
